ABOUT ME

Hey there! Welcome to my personal website. This website is created as a part of my Learner's Space Web Development project.

I am Koustav Sen. I am a first year Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I am a coding enthusiast. My likes include Competitve Programming and Machine Learning. I am from a small city of West Bengal. I passed my class 10th ICSE examination from St. Joseph's Convent Higher Secondary School, Chittaranjan. I completed my 11th and 12th from Hemsheela Model School, Durgapur. Fetching a decent AIR in JEE, landed me at IIT Bombay.

MY PROJECTS

Being a CSE student, I am interested in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I have completed a specilization in Deep Learning under Andrew Ng, one of the pioneers in this field. Here is a list of my projects :

ML GYM
Developed a web platform wherein user can upload training data, choose a training algorithm and provide some of the parameters to obtain results. Lastly the algorithm will auto tune the parameters and return the optimal set of parameters. This project was a part of Season of Code 2020. It was a tremendous opportunity for me to work and collaborate with a team.

Developed this website using CSS, Bootstrap and Javascript.

MY INTERESTS

I am not the typical CSE undergrad which people generally assume. As for me, I do like spending time watching sports, web series and sitcoms. Here is a short list of my interests :

Painting
I developed a passion in painting while drawing backdrop images in school functions. Since then I used to draw sketches, oil paintings, pencil shading and glass paintings.
Sudoku Puzzle
Sitting idle at home during COVID-19 lockdown, I started solving sudoku puzzles and really enjoyed it. I got interested in the algorithms which are used to solve such puzzles in a computer.
Television
I like watching anime, web series and sitcoms. Some of my favourites are:
